The Atlantic Hotel is centrally situated near the quay, shops, banks and

off-islands to view seabirds, seals, lighthouses and the world famous
Tresco Abbey Gardens.

There has been an Inn on this site welcoming guests for at least two hundred years. The original Gibson photographs in the entrance hall tell an interesting and colourful story. At one time, part of the building formed the 'Old Customs House', after which, in the 1860's, the building opened its doors to tourism for the first time as an hotel.
