| 'Auriga' is a private house,
ideally situated a stone's throw from Porthcressa's sandy beach and only
five minutes walk to the shops, restaurants, pubs and harbour.
We offer a warm, friendly welcome with a happy and relaxed atmosphere, where guests are free to come and go as they please, or sit and read or play games in the lounge. The house is centrally heated and there are tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, colour TV, hairdryer, clock/radio in all bedrooms. All bedrooms are ensuite. Early booking is essential for a room with a wonderful view of Porthcressa Bay. We also offer a ground floor bedroom. |
All towels excepts beach towels are provided. Transport for travellers from the airport is available by bus or taxi. If arriving on the RMV 'Scillonian', your luggage labelled 'Auriga' will be delivered. Auriga is a non-smoking establishment and we regret we are unable to accommodate pets. The quay is only five minutes away and from there you can take daily pleasure boat trips to the other islands. Island Tour buses are only two minutes away, leaving regularly for an entertaining and informative trip around St. Mary's. Other facilities include a nine-hole golf course, cycling, windsurfing, sailing and diving trips. |
