Introduction
We are centrally located in Hugh Town near to the local shops and restaurants,
a five minute walk from the Quay to catch the boats to the off islands
and two minutes walk from two beautiful beaches.
Pre-Arrival
• We regret that we do not accommodate dogs (or any other animals).
• Our literature can be provide in large print if require. We regret
we do not have facilities to prepare documents in Braille.
• Our Website and Brochure provides pictures of our accommodation.

Arrival &
Car Parking Facilities
• Please advise us of your mode of transport from the mainland (i.e.
plane, helicopter or ferry), your departure point and arrival time on
Scilly. We request that all guest come straight to the guesthouse on arrival
so we can ensure we are here to greet you.
• If traveling by Skybus (plane) Paulgers Passenger Transport meet
all flights. 01720 423701.
• If traveling by Helicopter you will be met by Woodcock Bus Services
who will bring you to our door.
• If traveling by Scillonian we are a five minute walk on the flat.
• We aim to have your room available from 12 noon on your day of
arrival, if you are arriving early we are happy to hold your luggage for
you.
• We offer assistance with luggage.
Main Entrance
& Reception
• There are two steps from the pavement to our front door. Unfortunately
we are unable to erect a hand rail as Freesia is a listed building.
Public Areas
- WC
• A public toilet is available on the ground floor.
Dining Room
• The dining room is on the ground floor.
• Breakfast is served between 08.15 and 09.00 hours daily in the
dining room.
Laundry
• Not available
Bedrooms
• We have four rooms which are all ensuite and consist of shower,
WC and wash basin.
• Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Fresh milk can
be supplied on request.
• There are flat screen televisions, clock radio alarms, fridges
and hairdryers in all rooms.
• All beds are made up with duvets. Blankets are provided in each
room if you prefer. If you have any allergies please advise us at the
time of booking so we can ensure we do not make your room up with feather
pillows or duvets.
• There is a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables in all
rooms.
• All rooms have individual panel heaters.
• Rooms 2 and 3 are on the first floor and can be made up as doubles
(super king) or twins with access from all sides.
• Room 4 is on the second floor and is double.
• Room 5 is on the second floor and is a twin with access from one
side.
Additional
Information
• There are fire extinguishers on each floor.
• In the event of a fire the smoke alarms will activate, please
assemble on the opposite side of the road. Please advise us on arrival
if you have a hearing impairment and might not hear this.
• We are a totally non smoking establishment.
• We are happy to cater for special diets with prior notice. Please
note that as we are on an island we often have to order in special foods.
• Mobile phones do work on the islands but the signal can be patchy,
please note that it is unlikely you will be able to pick up a signal in
the building. Vodafone and O2 have the best coverage. Please check with
your mobile provider for further information.
