Morgelyn is a small guest two house with self-contained suites and a self-catering flat for two, all non-smoking.  It is quietly situated at the north end of St. Mary's, 1.5 miles from Hugh Town. A pleasant half-hour walk with splendid views takes you into town, or there is a bus which stops two minutes walk away. Alternatively you may hire a bike during your stay or make use of the reliable taxi service. There is a restaurant and the golf club within fifteen minutes walk.

The garden at the front is for all guests to use and there are seats and a picnic bench so you can eat al fresco if you wish. 

From the front of the house there is a view across to Tresco and Round Island. There are beaches and a golf course nearby (five minutes to the nearest beach) and quiet coastal and inland walks with many opportunities to take in the beauty and tranquility of the islands. 

Guests have access to the lounge/dining room with TV, comfortable seating, books and games.

We regret children under 10 cannot be accommodated.

The Guest House (self-contained suites)

The smaller unit (Creeb) has twin storer beds, which can be put together to form a double, two easy chairs, TV/video and dining area with kitchenette, which includes an oven, hob and microwave. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower. This unit is at the front of the house and has a sea view over to Tresco.

The larger unit (Halangy) at the back has garden views from the living and bedroom windows. It consists of a kitchen and large living /dining area with a good quality double sofa bed, two easy chairs and TV/video. A single put-you-up or inflatable bed can also be put in this room. The double bedroom leads off the living room, as does the bathroom with shower. There is an ensuite toilet and handbasin off the bedroom.

The Flat

The studio flat (Pendrathen) is a loft conversion for two people, consisting of 3 rooms, carpeted throughout. The bathroom with shower is to the left of the entrance lobby and to the right is the kitchen equipped with microwave, electric cooker, refrigerator and fitted units. 

The bed sitting room has twin beds with duvets, which can be pushed together to form a double bed if required. There is a sofa, pine dressing table, dining table with bench seat, coffee table, radio, TV and hairdryer. 
 

 
The cost of electricity for heating and cooking are included in the price and all linen and towels are provided. 

Groceries can be delivered and an order form will be enclosed with booking confirmation. Let us know if you want fresh milk to be delivered.
