The beautiful Isles of Scilly are situated 28 sea miles from Lands End. The Gulf Stream ensures a mild climate that supports sub tropical gardens. The Islands provide a relaxed, friendly, idyllic environment in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The archipelago consists of over 100 rocks and islands of which five are inhabited. The largest of these is St Mary’s, which supports a population of about 1500 people, of which Hugh Town is the centre of island life.
