Veronica Lodge, situated on a quiet, private road, is a family residence on The Garrison Walk, overlooking Hugh Town.

The Listed 18th Century house is two minutes walk to the quay, where the pleasure launches leave daily to the off-islands, and the town's restaurants, shops and pubs.

Both double front rooms have views across Porthcressa Bay and the colourful harbour. All three bedrooms are heated and have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, television and fridge.

There is a comfortable sitting room with a tea tray available for those guests who wish to relax and take their tea on the lawn. A full AGA cooked English breakfast is a speciality of the house.

An attractive feature of the house is a large garden well equipped with sunbeds, tables, chairs and a large swing hammock for visitors to enjoy the outstanding sea views.

On arrival at the airport mini-buses meeting flights will, on request, bring you to the door. If travelling by sea on The Scillonian III and your luggage is labelled correctly, it will be delivered soon after your arrival. A small charge is made for this service.

Apart from the daily boat trips to the off-islands, a tour bus trip around St Mary's is recommended which gives visitors an informative commentary on island history and an amusing and fascinating insight into the Scillonian way of life.
