Perhaps the most famous part of our archive is our collection of shipwreck photographs. From their very first interest in photography successive generations of the family have made it their business to photograph the many shipwrecks that occur around the coast of Scilly and West Cornwall. This has resulted in a fabulous pictorial record of maritime disaster that cannot be matched.
