"Halcyon Daze" is yours for the day. We will plan your cruise around the islands incorporating a wonderful lunch whilst anchored in a sheltered bay including crab salad (or lobster if you so wish!). Anchor or moor up for lunch and explore the wonderful beaches and coves by foot. By sail, there is the opportunity to enjoy the flora, fauna, birdlife and unspoilt beauty of these islands. |

Throughout the day, we will ply you with food and drink! We always keep on board a selection of cakes, biscuits and crisps as being an able crew (and indeed snoozing on our trampoline in the afternoon sun), can give one a ferocious appetite. You will not go hungry! Tea, coffee, fruit juice and hot chocolate are provided on tap, or why not bring along your own bottle of wine? |

Each trip is unique, in that we are guided by wind and tide, and also aim to make our days as varied as possible. Below are the sort of activities we can offer: Mackerel fishing, swimming and snorkelling with seals. We explore the uninhabited islands, mooring up and going ashore to explore. The eastern isles offer the opportunity to see the seals and go in search for puffins and other unusual birdlife. |
On a typlical day, we would set out from St. Marys quay at 10.30am, which by then is quiet and peaceful after the morning rush, and then go for a morning sail and a spot of mackerel fishing. Moor in a quiet, sheltered cove or anchorage for lunch. Go ashore and explore. Take in an afternoon swim or snorkel with seals, and end the day with our final sail, homeward bound. Quote - "What a wonderful day. We've been scillying for ten years and this was the best!". |
