Welcome to the Porth Properties
website. Porth Properties is a family run letting business on the Isles
of Scilly. The Isles of Scilly are found twenty eight miles off Lands
End and consist of over one hundred rocks and islands, of which five are
inhabited. The gulf stream, a warm ocean current that travels across the
Atlantic Ocean, has ensured that the Islands have a mild climate that
sustains a host of sub-tropical plants and birds, as can be seen in the
famous Abbey Gardens on Tresco and throughout the islands. |

Our property is situated on St.Mary's, the
biggest island of the archipelago at two and a half miles long by one and
three quarters wide. St. Mary's offers a wide range of activities for visitors,
including water sports, diving and snorkelling trips, fishing, cycle hire,
tennis and squash, horse riding, and a gym. It also has a library, banks
and numerous shops, pubs and restaurants. Regular launches operate from
Hugh Town quay, just a few minutes' walk from our property. |

Porthmellon Flat has undergone extensive renovation to
a high standard. It can sleep four people, in one double with an ensuite
shower room and one twin bedroom, with an ensuite bathroom. Alternatively,
there is an optional third bedroom, with twin beds and an en-suite shower
room, making it suitable for six. It is situated in a convenient location
on the edge of Hugh Town, just twenty metres from Porthmellon beach (pictured
left) and close to both shops and restaurants. The flat has some sea views
