A small traditionally run bakery situated on the the
island of St Martins in the Isles of Scilly some 30 miles south of the
Cornish coastline, UK.
The
bakery is enthusiastically run by husband and wife team Toby and Louise
Tobin-Dougan.
On a daily basis we produce a wide selection of yeasted
and non-yeasted breads and pastries including croissants, brioche, French
baguettes, sourdoughs, rye breads and foccaccia alongside the traditional
tin loaves, bloomers, organic wholemeals, granaries and rolls of many varieties.
We also produce authentic cornish pasties hot from our ovens and many savouries
and pies baked on the premises using fresh local produce.
In
the evenings we are busy baking our own recipe thin crust pizzas with a
sumptuous selection of toppings. We also offer our speciality St Martins
loaf, "The Lawrence" made with locally gathered seaweed, locally sundried
tomatoes and feta cheese for that Atlantic taste experience.
Our cabinets are also full of traditionally home baked
cakes and puddings and we gladly take orders for the celebration cake you
desire for that special occasion.
We take advance orders for picnic packs to complement
your day on the beach or boat trip to the other islands.
