"We produce a wide selection of English and continental breads, pastries, tarts and pies all made by hand on the premises using largely organic locally sourced produce. We also produce a huge selection of filled rolls, quiches, salads and authentic Cornish pasties using locally raised island beef and locally grown potatoes. We also catch and smoke our own Atlantic salmon and local grey mullet which can be enjoyed in many of our rolls, pizzas and quiches. Our home smoked parma hams are something to be experienced as is our locally raised salt beef and horseradish rolls!
Our cabinets are also full of delicious home made cakes and puddings and we will gladly take orders for celebration cakes for that special occasion.
The salad ingredients we use in the bakery are largely organically grown by ourselves, and the eggs that go to produce cakes and quiches of excellence come from our flock of free range rare breed ducks and chickens. In our quieter moments in November and between January to April we run holiday baking courses for those who wish to enjoy the pleasures of making breads, pastries and pies in this beautifully unspoiled and tranquil setting.
