The Public Library is located at a redeveloped site at Porthcressa

of DVDs and audio tapes, and you can borrow audio/ebooks via their
online service. Visitors can borrow books using their mainland library

The Lifelong Learning department of the Council of the Isles of
Scilly is now located at Carn Gwaval, St Mary's, adjascent to the
Sports Hall (use the same entrance and follow the signs). They offer
some fantastic learning opportunities in a
diverse range of subjects - from business skills to jewellery making,
and from 'e-spanish' (delivered online) to RYA day skipper. There's

The Isles of
Scilly Museum, situated in Church Street, St Mary's holds a comprehensive
collection of maritime, social and natural history of the islands.
